Loire wines
The vineyards of the Loire extend far beyond the riverside.
They encompass more than sixty appellations of an amazing diversity from the Cotes du Forez near Puy-en-Velay to the Fiefs Vendéens overlooking the Atlantic. Along the route one finds famous names such as Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Vouvray, Chinon, Bourgueil,Saumur-Champigny, Muscadet and many others, but there are other lesser-known jewels to be discovered including the stunning Savennières, luscious Coteaux du Layon, Chaume
Premier Cru and Bonnezeaux, recently named worlds best white wine. Production in many cases is still carried out by small family units who cherish the individuality of their craft and are very happy to explain their passion to visitors to their caves during our wine tours
